Glenna Alice Reid Sneed (Rick's great-grandmother), Oak Grove, Mo., circa 1919, with six of her nine children (left to right): Lillian Alice Sneed (Rick's grandmother, b.1909), Charles Edward (Eddie) Sneed (b.1915), Enid Lucretia (Pat) Sneed (b.1917), Glenna Charlene (Gloria) Sneed (b. 1911), Thelma Norene (Nornie) Sneed (standing, b.1907), and Georgia Matilda Sneed (b.1913, d. 6 June 2001, Tulsa, Oklahoma). Glenna's fist child died in infancy in 1906. Her husband, Charles Samuel (Sam) Sneed died on the Christmas Eve before this picture was taken. On Christmas Day 1920, she married Neander Chatham Ewing, and had two more children: James Chatham Ewing (b.1922) and Harold Reid (Hal) Ewing (b.1923).
